Position Summary
The Senior Manager gives direction and coordinates all day-to-day efforts on behalf of clients for assigned accounts. He/she serves as a primary contact between e-tractions and clients and must provide the highest quality work in the most cost-effective manner. The Senior Manager builds and strengthens client relationships and, together with the entire account team, provides sound and responsible traditional and interactive marketing expertise. The Senior Manager Is also responsible for expanding business in key accounts, renewing business and negotiating and closing new engagements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities and close new business for assigned accounts.
- Prospect pharmaceutical companies to create opportunities to articulate e-tractions' experience, knowledge, and strategies
- Develop opportunities to sell e-tractions' services via cold calling, networking, and industry events, resulting in face-to-face presentations and RFI/RFP response deliverables
- Research and evaluate opportunities for e-tractions to win business opportunities with current and new pharmaceutical brands by identifying brand conflicts and conducting basic brand research
- Work with marketing strategists, business operations managers and other departments within a company to prepare proposals, RFI/RFP responses and new business presentations, including but not limited to creating presentation strategies and analyzing opportunity assessments
- Brainstorm and create new marketing materials to promote e-tractions products and services
- Provide all presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and marketing materials to the e-tractions business operations manager for archiving.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of e-tractions capabilities and case studies
- Provide credible information regarding opportunities, closure probability, anticipated closure date, estimated price, and pertinent next steps to the management team
- Attend weekly sales meetings to report on and discuss sales opportunities
- Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry as well as pharmaceutical online marketing tactics, sales and marketing trends, and process and application development engagements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree preferred
