e-tractions Adds Engineering V.P.

e-tractions, a Boston startup that helps set up Internet marketing campaigns, has named Gerard Keating vice president of engineering.

Keating has nearly 20 years of software experience, most recently as director of engineering for Engage Technologies, the CMGI-owned online advertising company. Keating led development of Engage's profile server software.

Prior to that he served as director of software development for GartnerGroup's learning division, responsible for delivering browser-based multimedia courses and other software.

At e-tractions Keating will lead product development for the company's "EnterAct" software suite, designed to be used by customer's technical staff, freelance designers, agencies or e-tractions' in-house creative staff to create marketing campaigns.

CEO Michael Gauthier said, "Gerard has a consistent track record of successfully delivering software projects on schedule and within budget and establishing and managing key working relationships with strategic partners. He's a pleasure to work with, and we're delighted to welcome him aboard."
