E-TRACTIONS' SERVICE TYCOON SELECTED AS A 2005 MITX AWARDS FINALIST
(Bedford, MA, September 29, 2005) - e-tractions today announced its Service Tycoon has been selected as a finalist in the Technology category for The 10th Annual MITX Awards. Produced by the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, the MITX Awards recognize excellence in the creation of interactive technologies designed, produced or developed in New England.
Begun in 1996, the MITX Awards have grown to the largest and most prestigious awards competition in the country for technology innovations and celebrates the best creative and technological accomplishments emerging from New England.

Scheduling service calls is no easy task and ClickSoftware was looking for a fun and lighthearted way to call attention to their very serious service workforce and optimization software. They called on e-tractions to build an online experience where visitors would vie for the title of Service Tycoon.

In less than two months after launch, more than 10,000 people have played the game. The Service Tycoon game has become a popular hit for ClickSoftware. So popular that a CD version is now being widely distributed.
